Davis Technical College hires new vice president

Davis Technical College is pleased to announce the hiring of Darin Brush as the new Vice President of External Relations and Economic Development.

Brush comes to Davis Technical College with 23 years of experience in the non-profit and government sectors. Brush served as Deputy Director of the Utah Department of Workforce Services for 11 years, where he led the development of multiple partnerships and programs. As Executive Director of the Community Development Corporation of Utah for 10 years, he created more than 300 affordable housing units and led the largest expansion in the company’s history.

Brush brings a wealth of experience and leadership skills to Davis Technical College’s external facing position responsible for partnership development. “We are very fortunate to sign a person with Darin’s background.” says Michael J. Bouwhuis, president of Davis Technical College. “His leadership skills, track record of growth, and commitment to the community will be an asset to our organization, and we look forward to future growth for Davis Technical College as Darin joins our team.”

Brush, who currently serves as Executive Director at the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation, replaces Ginger Chinn in this position. Brush begins his administrative role at Davis Technical College in early June.
